FTSE 100 today: level, companies and odds

The FTSE 100 brings together 96 companies. ATLAS covers 96 of them, the largest being HSBC, Shell, and AstraZeneca. This page shows each member's price, how far it trades from ATLAS fair value and the model probability of a higher close in a month.

The FTSE 100 is made up of the 100 largest companies listed on the London Stock Exchange by market value.

Data as of Oct 27, 2026.

ATLAS breadth

88 of 96 members (92%) have a probability above 50% of closing higher in a month in ATLAS's model.

Of 86 members with a fair value estimate, 34 trade at least 8% below it and 39 at least 8% above; the median gap is +3%.

How to read it: ATLAS's calibrated model uses the same long-run drift for every stock, so the share above 50% mostly reflects how many members are calm enough (low volatility) to sit above a coin flip. It gauges how calm the index is, not where it is going.

How this page is built

Members: the list of companies in the FTSE 100 comes from an index-data provider and is refreshed every week. Companies ATLAS does not publish (too small, no data or not listed in the country) are left out, so this page covers 96 of 96.

Price, fair value and probability come from the same stored data as each company page; probabilities use ATLAS's calibrated one-month model. The index level and daily change are for the last close of the index.

Limits: this is not the official index factsheet. Weights are estimated from market value, probabilities are not forecasts, and nothing here is investment advice.

What does ATLAS breadth mean for the FTSE 100?

It is the share of members whose probability of closing higher in a month is above 50% in ATLAS's calibrated model: 92% today (88 of 96). Because the model uses one long-run drift for all stocks, it mostly measures how calm the members are. It is not a forecast for the index.

On the latest stored close, Computacenter rose the most (+13.1%) and Experian fell the most (-6.7%) among members.

Can I invest in the FTSE 100?

An index is a list, not a product, so you cannot buy it directly. Funds that replicate it exist in many markets, but ATLAS does not recommend products. Check costs, taxes and currency before choosing any.

How often is this page updated?

Prices and probabilities are refreshed every day and the page is rebuilt at least every 6 hours. The member list is refreshed every week.
