A stock market simulator for students
A simulator is only as useful as the habits it builds. ATLAS gives students virtual capital, real US market prices and the same kind of analysis a fund would use, so they practise making and defending decisions, not just clicking buy.
What students actually get
Students work with a universe of more than 5,000 US stocks and over 2,400 ETFs at real market prices. For each one they see the probability that it rises, an expected range of prices, a fair value estimate and its risk numbers, so the decision starts from evidence.
Nothing installs: a student joins with a link and starts from a short onboarding. Every student in a challenge gets full access included, at no cost to them; the institution pays for the challenge.
From analysis to a portfolio
The platform guides a simple loop. Students analyse companies and read the risk, build a portfolio that fits a context, and then compete on a ranking that moves with the market.
- Analyze: beta, volatility, horizons, sectors and correlation
- Build: a complete portfolio that can be actively managed
- Compete: a leaderboard with returns and positions for the whole class
Why real prices change the learning
With made-up prices a student can win by luck without ever learning why. With real prices and real risk numbers, a bad decision has a visible reason and a good one can be argued. That is what turns a game into practice for valuation, risk and portfolio theory.
Alone or in a team
Students can compete individually or in teams of up to five. In team mode every order is a team decision: someone proposes it with a written reason, and teammates vote before it is executed.
