World stock markets map: how is each country's market doing?
ATLAS shows the world's stock markets as a heat wall and a map: which exchanges are open, how each moved, and which themes are moving them, going back a year.
What it does
The markets view lists exchanges grouped by region with the number of companies, the day's change and whether the exchange is open. The map colors every country by the ATLAS index of its exchange and lets you jump to any day in the last year, with the themes that moved markets that day.
It helps with a question many investors cannot answer quickly: is a bad day mine, my country's or the world's? Seeing all exchanges together separates a local story from a global one.

How ATLAS calculates it
For each exchange ATLAS builds an index from its 20 largest companies, weighted by market value, using stored closing prices. Themes (oil, rates, the dollar, gold, US sectors that diverged) are picked from reference assets that moved more than usual. Everything is read from the database, with no provider or AI call when you open the page.
Beyond the headline, the compare view shows contagion from the US and sensitivity to reference assets for each exchange.
Limits you should know
The index covers only the largest companies, so it is not the official index of the exchange. Currency changes can make a market look better or worse in dollars than in local terms.

The ATLAS markets view marks each exchange as open or closed and shows its change for the day.
How do I compare stock markets in different countries?
Use an index for each exchange built the same way. ATLAS builds one from each exchange's 20 largest companies so the comparison is consistent.
Can I look at a past day?
Yes. The map lets you pick any day of the last year and shows the themes that moved markets then.
Does it cover emerging markets?
Yes. ATLAS covers many countries beyond the US and Europe, with local-currency prices and the same fair value and probability model.
